Our precision Syringe Rams provide reproducible samples for
your kinetic rate and intermediate formation experiments.
The
Model 1019 Syringe Ram, shown at lower left, has the capacity for up to four syringes
which allows it to be used for Freeze-quench, Chemical-quench, three and four
reactant experiments, as well as Stopped- flow work. With its built-in
syringe compartment waterbath, the Model 1019 Syringe Ram is a very versatile instrument.
We have been making Freeze-Quench instruments since 1975, and
our Syringe Rams are still the only systems available which have the drive
power to make accurate and repeatable Freeze-Quench samples.
The
Model 1100 Syringe Ram has a capacity of two syringes, which limits it
to Freeze-quench and Stopped-flow experiments. There is a standalone
waterbath available with this Ram, or it can be mounted directly to an EPR Spectrometer
magnet yoke (shown at upper right).
Both Syringe Rams are powered by the
Model 715 Controller (shown upper left), and will maintain constant flow
velocities in the presence of unpredictable turbulent forces in the flow system.
The Model 715 is capable of up to four pushes, with variable precisely
controlled delays between pushes.
